Bus
From Homestead, head to the nearest bus stop located at 301 NE 1st Ave. Take the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route 38 towards the Metro Rail Transfer Station. Stay on the bus for about 40 minutes until you reach the 'Miami City Hall' stop. From there, transfer to Bus Route 120 (Miami Beach) and ride for approximately 20 minutes to the 'Bayside Marketplace' stop. Once you get off, walk east for about 5 minutes until you reach the Miami Riverwalk.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Homestead. Start by heading north on US-1 for approximately 12 miles towards Miami. As you approach the city, take a right onto SE 1st St and continue straight until you reach Biscayne Blvd. Turn left and ride north until you reach the entrance to the Miami Riverwalk. This route is about 14 miles in total and will take roughly 1 hour depending on your pace.
Walking
For those feeling adventurous and able to walk, start from the center of Homestead. Walk north along Krome Avenue towards the US-1 North. Follow the sidewalk and continue until you reach the intersection with SW 328th St. Turn left and continue walking until you arrive at the bus stop for the Miami-Dade Transit (Bus Route 38). Board the bus and follow the earlier instructions to transfer to Bus Route 120 at 'Miami City Hall' and get off at 'Bayside Marketplace'. Walk east for 5 minutes to Miami Riverwalk.
