A Tribute to Valor: Old Homosassa Veterans Memorial

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Homosassa Springs. Head west on W Yulee Dr toward S Suncoast Blvd. Continue on S Suncoast Blvd for approximately 1.5 miles. After passing the intersection with W Homosassa Trail, you will see signs for Old Homosassa Veterans Memorial on your right. Turn right onto W Yulee Dr, and you will find the memorial shortly after on your left. Parking is available nearby, and there are no parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check with the local Citrus County transit service for the most current bus schedules. You will want to take the bus that travels along S Suncoast Blvd. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of S Suncoast Blvd and W Homosassa Trail. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Old Homosassa Veterans Memorial. Head west on W Homosassa Trail, then turn onto W Yulee Dr, and the memorial will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you're within walking distance in Homosassa Springs, simply navigate to S Suncoast Blvd and head towards the west. Depending on your starting point, it might take around 15-30 minutes to reach the memorial on foot. Make sure to stay on the sidewalks for safety. Once you reach the intersection with W Yulee Dr, turn left and continue until you see the memorial on your left.
