Getting There

  • Car

    From Honeymoon Island State Park, exit the park and head south on Honeymoon Island Causeway. Continue straight to merge onto FL-586 W (Curlew Road). After approximately 3 miles, turn left onto US-19 S. Keep driving for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Gulf Boulevard. Turn right onto Gulf Boulevard, and continue for about 2.5 miles. Sand Key Park will be on your right at 1060 Gulf Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $5 for the day.

    From Honeymoon Island State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Honeymoon Island Causeway. Take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus route 300 towards Clearwater. Ride for approximately 25 minutes, getting off at the stop on Gulf Boulevard near Sand Key Park. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Sand Key Park at 1060 Gulf Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767. Be prepared for a bus fare of around $2.00 one way.
