Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you're starting from downtown Jacksonville, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus route 1 towards 'Riverside'. After around 15-20 minutes, get off at the 'Hemming Park' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 18 towards 'Jacksonville Zoo'. This ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Jacksonville Zoo' stop, Monsoon Garden is located within the zoo premises. Follow the signs to the Monsoon Garden area, which showcases tropical plants and wildlife.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, start from the downtown area and head north on the Northbank Riverwalk. Continue along this scenic route until you reach the 'Main Street Bridge'. Cross the bridge and follow the road signs to FL-105. Once you reach FL-105, turn left and continue straight for approximately 5 miles until you see the entrance to the Jacksonville Zoo. Park your bike at the bike rack near the entrance, and then make your way to the Monsoon Garden inside the zoo.
