Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head east on US-1 (Overseas Highway) from any location in Marathon. Follow the signs for Sombrero Beach and keep an eye out for Sombrero Blvd. Turn left onto Sombrero Blvd. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach Dockside Boot Key Harbor, located at 35 Sombrero Blvd. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the time of year.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local bus services like the Lower Keys Shuttle. Board the shuttle at a nearby stop in Marathon, and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Sombrero Blvd. Once you disembark, it will be a short walk (approximately 0.5 miles) to Dockside Boot Key Harbor. Be sure to check the schedule ahead of time as service may vary.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and would like to bike, you can rent a bicycle from several local shops in Marathon. Start from a central location like Marathon Community Park and head south on 15th St. until you reach Sombrero Blvd. Turn left and follow Sombrero Blvd for about 1 mile until you reach Dockside Boot Key Harbor. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle once you arrive.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to walk, simply make your way to Sombrero Blvd and head towards Dockside Boot Key Harbor. From the Marathon Community Park, head south on 15th St. and then turn left onto Sombrero Blvd. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you arrive at 35 Sombrero Blvd. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on hot days.
