Car
If you're driving from Miami Beach, start by heading west on 5th Street toward Alton Road. Continue straight onto 5th Street, then turn left onto Alton Road. After about 1 mile, merge onto I-395 W toward Miami. Continue on I-395 W, which will take you across the MacArthur Causeway. Once you cross the causeway, take the exit toward Biscayne Blvd and keep right to continue on Parrot Jungle Trail. Jungle Island will be on your left at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, FL 33132. There is a parking fee of approximately $15 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Jungle Island by public transport, first take the Miami-Dade Transit Bus Route S (South Beach) from Miami Beach. Board the bus at any stop along Collins Avenue or Washington Avenue. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Alton Road & 17th Street. From there, transfer to Bus Route 120 (Beach Express) toward the Adrienne Arsht Center. You'll need to pay a fare of approximately $2.25. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Biscayne Blvd & 15th Street. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Jungle Island. Head east on 15th Street, then turn left onto Parrot Jungle Trail. Jungle Island will be on your right at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail.
