Once you get off, walk east on 17th Street towards Collins Avenue, and then turn left. Continue north on Collins Avenue until you reach the Miami Beach Boardwalk. The boardwalk stretches along the beach, so you can start your experience right away.

If you're near the Lincoln Road Mall in Miami Beach, you can easily walk to the Miami Beach Boardwalk. Head east on Lincoln Road until you reach Collins Avenue.
