After about 45 minutes, get off at the stop at SE 17th St & US-1. From there, transfer to Bus Route 1, which will take you directly to Port Everglades. The total journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Ride-Sharing Service
If you prefer to use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft, simply open the app and enter 'Port Everglades, 1850 Eller Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316' as your destination. Depending on traffic, the ride from downtown Miami should take about 30 to 45 minutes. Make sure to confirm the driver's identity before getting in.
Water Taxi
For a scenic route, consider taking a water taxi. Head to the nearest water taxi stop, such as the Miami Beach Marina. Purchase a ticket for the water taxi service to Fort Lauderdale. Once you arrive in Fort Lauderdale, disembark at the stop closest to Port Everglades. From there, it's a short walk to the port. The entire journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, including the water taxi ride and walking.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle. Start by heading towards the Miami Beach Boardwalk and continue to follow the scenic path along the coast. Make your way to the MacArthur Causeway, and then follow the bike lanes towards Fort Lauderdale. Once you reach Fort Lauderdale, use local bike paths to navigate towards Port Everglades. This journey may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace.
