    From downtown Miami, head to the nearest Metrobus stop. Take the Metrobus Route 24 (Coral Way) towards Coral Gables. Get off at the 'Main Hwy & 34 Ave' stop. Walk south on Main Highway for about 0.3 miles (approximately 7 minutes) until you reach The Barnacle Historic State Park located at 3485 Main Hwy, Coconut Grove.

  • Public Transit (Metrorail)

    Take the Metrorail from any station towards the University of Miami. Get off at the Coconut Grove Station. From there, walk east along Bird Road until you reach Main Highway. Turn south on Main Highway and continue walking for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes). The Barnacle Historic State Park will be on your left at 3485 Main Hwy.

  • Biking

    If you are comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing programs available in Miami. Start from downtown Miami and head south towards Coconut Grove. Follow the designated bike lanes along Biscayne Blvd, and then turn west onto SW 27th Ave. Continue until you reach Main Highway, then head south for about 0.3 miles to reach The Barnacle Historic State Park at 3485 Main Hwy.
