Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in South Beach, the South Pointe Park Lighthouse is easily accessible on foot. Start from the intersection of Ocean Drive and 5th Street. Head south on Ocean Drive until you reach 1st Street, then turn right. Continue west until you hit Washington Avenue. Turn left and walk south on Washington Avenue for about 0.5 miles. You will see South Pointe Park on your right, and the lighthouse is located within the park at 50 Washington Ave.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bike from one of the nearby rental stations in South Beach. Once you have your bike, start at the intersection of Ocean Drive and 5th Street. Ride south on Ocean Drive, then turn right onto 1st Street. Continue west until you reach Washington Avenue, where you will turn left and head south. The South Pointe Park Lighthouse is located within South Pointe Park, approximately 0.5 miles down Washington Avenue at 50 Washington Ave. Make sure to lock your bike before exploring the park.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From anywhere in South Beach, you can catch the Miami Beach public bus. Look for the 120 Beach Bus or the South Beach Local Bus. Board the bus heading towards South Pointe and get off at the stop closest to 5th Street and Washington Avenue. From there, walk south on Washington Avenue for about 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive at the South Pointe Park Lighthouse at 50 Washington Ave. Note that the bus fare is $2.25.
