Getting There

• Public Bus

  From downtown Orlando, take the Lynx bus Route 8 towards Kissimmee. Board the bus at the Lynx Central Station located at 201 S Garland Ave, Orlando. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Kissimmee bus terminal. From the bus terminal, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Monument of States. Head east on E Dakin Ave, then turn left onto N John Young Pkwy. Continue walking until you reach E Monument Ave, where the monument is located at 300 E Monument Ave.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in downtown Orlando. Once you have your bike, head south on Orange Ave, then take the right onto E Michigan St. Continue straight until you reach John Young Pkwy. Follow John Young Pkwy south until you get to E Monument Ave in Kissimmee. The ride should take about 45 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Rideshare Service (Uber/Lyft)

  Open your rideshare app (Uber or Lyft) in downtown Orlando. Set your destination to '300 E Monument Ave, Kissimmee, FL 34741'. This will take you directly to the Monument of States. The ride typically takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

• Walking

  If you are near the vicinity of Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando, you can walk to the Monument of States. Start at Lake Eola Park and head southeast on E Washington St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Orange Ave. Turn right and head south on S Orange Ave, which will turn into John Young Pkwy. Follow John Young Pkwy to E Monument Ave in Kissimmee. This walk is approximately 7 miles and will take about 2 hours, so be prepared with water and comfortable shoes.
