Take the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus route 100X towards the Tampa International Airport. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the transfer at the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport. Here, you'll transfer to bus route 360 towards Anna Maria Island. After about a 45-minute ride, you'll arrive at the Anna Maria Island terminus. The island is a beautiful destination where you can explore the beaches, shops, and local eateries.

If you prefer a more active route, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in downtown St. Petersburg. Head west on Central Avenue until you reach the waterfront. Follow the bike path along the waterfront to the Tierra Verde area. From there, continue along Pinellas Bayway to the Anna Maria Island Bridge.
