Car
If you're driving from Fort Myers, head south on US-41 (Tamiami Trail) and follow the signs for Estero Blvd. Merge onto Estero Blvd and continue for about 10 miles. You will see signs for Lovers Key State Park on your right shortly before reaching the entrance at 8700 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. There is an entrance fee of $8 per vehicle (up to 2 people) or $4 per pedestrian or cyclist.
Public Transportation
From downtown Fort Myers, take the LeeTran bus route 50 towards Fort Myers Beach. The bus will take you to the beach area. Once you arrive at the beach, you will need to transfer to route 150 (the Fort Myers Beach trolley) and get off at the stop closest to Lovers Key State Park. Be sure to check the bus schedule for timings, as services can vary. Note that a single bus fare is $1.50.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can ride along Estero Blvd from Fort Myers Beach. There are bike lanes available, and it's approximately a 4-mile ride from the beach area to Lovers Key State Park. Remember to bring a bike lock as there are bike racks available at the park entrance.
