Car
If you are driving from Fort Myers, take I-75 S towards Naples. Exit at 131 for Pine Island Rd and follow the signs toward Sanibel Island. After crossing the Sanibel Causeway, continue straight onto Periwinkle Way. The Sanibel Lighthouse will be on your right at 112 Periwinkle Way. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be a parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Sanibel Lighthouse via public transport, take the LeeTran Bus Route 50 from Fort Myers to the Sanibel Causeway. Once you arrive at the Causeway, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach the lighthouse. The taxi fare may vary, but expect to pay around $20-$30 for the short ride to the lighthouse from the Causeway terminal.
