Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Space Coast, head towards Interstate 95 (I-95). If you're starting from Cocoa Beach, take A1A north until you reach the intersection with I-95. Merge onto I-95 South. Continue on I-95 for approximately 30 miles and take exit 249 for FL-44 towards New Smyrna Beach. Merge onto FL-44 and follow the signs to New Smyrna Beach. Once in New Smyrna Beach, continue on FL-44 until you reach the intersection with S Atlantic Ave. Turn left onto S Atlantic Ave and follow it for about 5 miles. Canaveral National Seashore will be on your right at 7611 Atlantic Ave S, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169. Note that there is an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Canaveral National Seashore via public transportation, start by taking the Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) bus from your location in Space Coast to the nearest bus terminal. If you're in Cocoa Beach, take the SCAT route 9 to the Cocoa Beach Terminal. From there, transfer to route 21 heading towards New Smyrna Beach. Get off at the nearest stop to the seashore (it may be necessary to check for the closest stop or walk some distance from the bus stop). Note that you might need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service for the final leg of the journey to Canaveral National Seashore, as public transportation may not drop you directly at the entrance.
