Car
If you are driving, start from Cocoa Beach, which is a popular tourist spot in the Space Coast area. Head north on S Atlantic Ave (A1A) for about 5 miles. After crossing the Cocoa Beach Pier, continue to follow A1A until you reach the intersection with FL-528 W. Merge onto FL-528 W toward Cape Canaveral. Take exit 49 for N Atlantic Ave and turn left onto N Atlantic Ave. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will see the Mercury 7 Monument on your right, located at the intersection of N Atlantic Ave and E Central Blvd.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Space Coast Area Transit bus service. From Cocoa Beach, board the Route 9 bus heading towards Cape Canaveral. The ticket will cost around $2.50. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at N Atlantic Ave & E Central Blvd. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.2 miles) to the Mercury 7 Monument. Just head north on N Atlantic Ave, and you will see the monument on your left.
