Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of St. Augustine, head south on Avenida Menendez towards the Castillo de San Marcos. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Hypolita Street. Turn left onto Hypolita Street and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Cordova Street. Turn right onto Cordova Street and head south. After a few blocks, Cordova Street will turn into A1A South. Continue walking straight on A1A South for about 1 mile. Look for Red Cox Drive on your right, and take that road. The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum will be at 100 Red Cox Dr.

• Public Transportation

  From the Visitor Information Center located at 10 S Castillo Dr, take the Old Town Trolley Tour. Board the trolley and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the St. Augustine Lighthouse stop. This is a convenient and informative way to travel to the lighthouse while enjoying the sights of the city.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the downtown area of St. Augustine and head south on Avenida Menendez. Follow the same route as the walking directions until you reach A1A South. Once on A1A, you can ride comfortably along the designated bike lanes. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn onto Red Cox Drive. The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum will be on your right at 100 Red Cox Dr.
