Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any location in St. Pete Beach. Head towards Gulf Boulevard (the main highway). Depending on your starting point, you may need to navigate local streets to reach Gulf Boulevard. Once on Gulf Boulevard, drive south toward 1st Avenue. Look for the intersection with 1st Avenue and turn left (east) onto 1st Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the beach access point, which is at the end of 1st Avenue. There is usually street parking available, but keep in mind that parking may incur a fee. Be prepared to pay at the parking meter.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) routes. You can take the PSTA Route 18, which runs along Gulf Boulevard. Board the bus heading south towards Pass-a-Grille. Ask the driver to alert you when you reach the stop nearest to 1st Avenue. Upon disembarking, walk east along 1st Avenue to reach the beach access. Ensure to have exact change or a valid bus pass, as fares are required for the bus ride.
