Car
From St. Petersburg Beach, head east on Gulf Blvd toward 75th Ave. Continue on Gulf Blvd for about 6 miles. Take a right onto 54th Ave S, then a left onto the Pinellas Bayway. Continue on the Pinellas Bayway for about 3 miles, then take a left onto Oceanview Dr. Follow Oceanview Dr until you reach 2187 Oceanview Dr, which is the parking area for Shell Key Preserve. Note that parking may incur a fee, so be sure to have cash or a card ready.

Public Transportation + Shuttle
Take the PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) bus number 59 from St. Petersburg Beach. Ride the bus towards the Bay Area, and transfer at the Bayway Isles stop to the 74 bus heading towards Tierra Verde. Get off at the Tierra Verde Plaza stop. From there, you will need to arrange for a local shuttle or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to take you to 2187 Oceanview Dr, Tierra Verde, FL 33715, as it is not within walking distance. Expect to pay for both the bus fare and the shuttle service.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can bike to Shell Key Preserve. Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in St. Petersburg Beach. Head east on Gulf Blvd, then follow the same route as cars by connecting to Pinellas Bayway. There are bike-friendly paths available, but be cautious of traffic.
