If you are in downtown St. Petersburg, walk to the nearest bus stop for the PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) bus service. You can take the Route 18 bus heading towards Tampa. The bus will take you across the Howard Frankland Bridge. Once you reach the stop at the intersection of Interbay Blvd and Ballast Point Blvd, get off the bus. From there, walk south on Interbay Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you see Ballast Point Park on your right.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in downtown St. Petersburg. Head west on Central Avenue until you reach the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront until you can access the Pinellas Trail, which will lead you north towards Tampa. Follow the trail until you can exit onto Gandy Blvd, and then head onto Interbay Blvd. Continue on Interbay Blvd until you reach Ballast Point Park. The entire journey is approximately 9 miles.

Head west on Central Avenue towards the waterfront, then continue walking north along the waterfront until you reach the Gandy Bridge. Cross the bridge on the pedestrian walkway and proceed straight to Interbay Blvd. Turn left onto Interbay Blvd and walk for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at Ballast Point Park. This walk will take about 2 to 2.5 hours.
