    If you are starting from downtown St. Petersburg, head to the nearest bus stop for the PSTA (Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority) bus route. Take the number 60 bus heading towards Clearwater. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Get off at the Sand Key Park stop, which is near Gulf Blvd. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Sand Key Park at 1060 Gulf Blvd.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike-sharing stations in downtown St. Petersburg. Head west on 1st Ave S towards 34th St S and take a left onto 34th St S. Continue north until you reach the Pinellas Trail. Follow the Pinellas Trail north until you reach Clearwater. Follow local signage to Gulf Blvd, and Sand Key Park will be on your left at 1060 Gulf Blvd.

    Walking

    If you are staying nearby, walking to Sand Key Park is a great option. From Clearwater Beach, head south along the beach walk until you reach the end of the beach. Turn right onto Gulf Blvd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles.
