Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by getting onto US-27 S from your location in Tallahassee. Follow US-27 S for approximately 2 miles. Take the exit toward I-10 E. Merge onto I-10 E and continue for about 3 miles. Take exit 199B for Monroe St. Continue on Monroe St, and then turn left onto Suwannee St. The Korean War Memorial will be on your right at 790-798 Suwannee St, Tallahassee, FL 32399. There is no parking fee as there is street parking available around the memorial.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take the StarMetro bus service. Find your nearest bus stop and board a bus that heads toward the downtown area, such as the #1 or #2 routes. Get off at the stop closest to Monroe St and Suwannee St. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the Korean War Memorial, located at 790-798 Suwannee St. Check the StarMetro website for the latest schedules and fare information; typically, a one-way fare is around $1.00.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the downtown area and prefer to walk, head toward Monroe St. From there, walk south until you reach Suwannee St. Turn right onto Suwannee St, and the Korean War Memorial will be on your right at 790-798 Suwannee St. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting point. This is a great option if you want to enjoy the local scenery along the way.
