To reach Velda Mound Park by car, start from downtown Tallahassee. Head northeast on E Tennessee St toward N Monroe St. Use the left 2 lanes to merge onto US-27 N toward Quincy. Continue on US-27 N for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit for I-10 E toward Jacksonville. Merge onto I-10 E and travel for about 3 miles. Take exit 196B for US-319 N toward Thomasville. Continue on US-319 N for about 4 miles. Turn left onto Baldwin Dr S, and the park will be on your right. Parking is available at the site, and it is free of charge.
