From the Florida Historic Capitol Museum, head south on S Monroe St toward E Apalachee Pkwy. Turn left onto E Gaines St, and continue straight. Cascades Park will be on your left, approximately a 5-minute walk. This route is straightforward and well-paved.

Public Transport
StarMetro, Tallahassee's public bus service, has several routes that stop near Cascades Park. From C.K. Steele Plaza, the main bus station, take any bus that heads south and get off at the stop closest to Cascades Park on Monroe Street. Bus routes A, B, G, and K are options. A single ride fare is $1.25.

Approaching from the north on Monroe Street, continue south into downtown. After passing Apalachee Parkway, turn left onto Gaines Street. The park will be on your left. Free parking is available in several government-owned lots/garages adjacent to the park, as well as throughout downtown just a few blocks away. Metered parking is free after 6 PM and on weekends. Valet parking is available through the AC Hotel Parking Garage off S. Gadsden Street for $8 for three hours.
