Car
Start by driving from Tampa towards US-19 N. Take I-275 N and then merge onto US-19 N. Continue on US-19 N until you reach the town of Tarpon Springs. From US-19, turn onto Tarpon Avenue which will lead you towards the coast. Follow Tarpon Avenue until you reach the Anclote River Park, where you can find parking. The park is located at 111 East Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. Note that parking may require a fee, typically around $5.
Boat
At Anclote River Park, you will need to launch a boat or take a water taxi to reach Anclote Key Lighthouse. If you have your own boat, use the boat ramp available at the park. Alternatively, consider booking a water taxi service in the Tarpon Springs area. The boat ride to Anclote Key takes about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to check the availability and schedule of the water taxi in advance. Costs for a water taxi can vary, typically around $30-$50 per person for a round trip.
Public Transportation + Boat
If you prefer public transportation, take the HART bus from Tampa to Tarpon Springs. You can catch the bus at various locations in Tampa; check the HART website for routes and schedules. Once in Tarpon Springs, use local taxis or rideshare services to reach Anclote River Park. From there, follow the instructions for boat access to the lighthouse.
