Driving
From La Ciotat, follow the D141 (Route des Crêtes) directly from the town. The road begins its ascent shortly after leaving La Ciotat. From Cassis, also follow D141. The route is well-signed from both towns. Be aware that parking at the various viewpoints is limited and can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. During the summer (June 1 to September 30), the Route des Crêtes is often closed to motorized vehicles on days with high fire risk. Check local conditions before you go. There are no tolls on the Route des Crêtes.

Public Transport
While there isn't direct public transport *on* the Route des Crêtes itself, you can take a bus to either La Ciotat or Cassis and then access the road. From La Ciotat, Ciotabus lines 30, 31, and 10 will get you closer to the upper parts of the area, from where you can walk (30 minutes to 2 hours). From Cassis, a shuttle service operates between the free Les Gorguettes Relay Car Park and the Route des Crêtes drop-off point (Le Pas de la Colle) on Sundays when the route is pedestrianized; the fare is €0.90. Keep in mind that you'll still need to walk a considerable distance to fully experience the route. Check local bus schedules for current times and availability.

Taxis or ride-sharing services can drop you off at the start of the Route des Crêtes from either La Ciotat or Cassis.
