A Tranquil Escape: The Médiéval d'Amiens Garden

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Amiens Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens), exit the cathedral and head west on Place Notre-Dame toward Rue de la République. Continue straight onto Rue de la République for about 300 meters until you reach the junction with Rue de l'Horloge. Turn left onto Rue de l'Horloge and continue walking for approximately 150 meters. At the end of Rue de l'Horloge, you will reach the Place Gambetta. From there, continue straight onto Rue de la Paix, which will lead you to the Parc Saint-Pierre. The médiéval d'Amiens Garden is located within the Parc Saint-Pierre. Follow the paths through the park, and you will soon find the medieval garden area.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Amiens train station (Gare d'Amiens), exit the station and head to the bus stop 'Gare'. Take bus line 2 (direction 'Saint-Maurice') and get off at the stop 'Place Gambetta'. Once you exit the bus, walk towards Rue de la Paix and follow it straight into Parc Saint-Pierre. The médiéval d'Amiens Garden is located within the Parc Saint-Pierre, and you can easily find it by following the signs or paths in the park.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle in Amiens, from the city center, head towards the Canal de la Somme. Ride along the canal path towards Parc Saint-Pierre. Once you reach the park entrance, find your way through the park, which is well-marked, to the médiéval d'Amiens Garden. The bike ride will be approximately 15 minutes from the city center.
