Walking
From Amiens city center (e.g., Place Gambetta near the Hôtel de Ville), the Jardin des Plantes is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head east along Rue des Trois Cailloux, continuing onto Rue Dusevel. Follow Rue Dusevel until you reach Boulevard du Jardin des Plantes. The garden entrance will be on your left. The walk is mostly flat and straightforward, passing shops and residential areas.
Public Transport
From Gare d'Amiens (Amiens Train Station), take bus line 9, L, N1, N3, or N4. Get off at the Dusevel stop, which is a 4-minute walk from the Jardin des Plantes. From the bus stop, walk along Rue Dusevel until you reach Boulevard du Jardin des Plantes. The garden entrance will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.60.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from Gare d'Amiens or the city center to the Jardin des Plantes will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €8-€12. Ask the driver to take you to 60 Boulevard du Jardin des Plantes.
