Best Intro to Annecy in 2 hours with a Local
Fun in Annecey
Our experience with Heidi was very informative and pleasant. She has a lot of local knowledge after living in Annecy for over 40 years. She is easy to be with, and flexible about accommodating our requests. The tour was advertised as two hours and $106 pp, she did give us 2 hours, but thought it was supposed to be 90 minutes and we were billed $303 USD. I let it go, this is just an FYI.

Annecy Walking Tour with Audioguide on your Smartphone
Pretty good.
This works well because it gives you freedom to move at your own pace. The audio is clear. I just found the content a little dry and lacking in substance. And of course, you do miss the opportunity to ask questions.

We had a wonderful tour from Geneva to Annecy in a lovely sky-top small bus. The tour itinerary was great, but the very best part was our driver/guide David. His insightful and interesting and entertaining dialogue was greatly appreciated. We increased our knowledge about the area and the city of Annecy. It was the best tour i have ever taken.
