The panier district was a completely different feel, quieter and more tucked away, and it was nice having that contrast in one day. My tip would be comfortable shoes, water, and don't try to rush every stop, pick a couple to really enjoy.

Our guide, Shirley, was warm and friendly, very bright, spoke perfect English and was sympathetic that I was suffering from sciatica so we stopped and sat several times. I liked that the tour was so comprehensive and geared to our interests. She was well informed about everything… art (especially Cezanne) architecture, history and politics.
