From the parking area at the end of Lac de Montriond, follow the clearly marked trail towards Cascade d'Ardent. The path leads through the forest, passing the hamlet of Les Albertans. The walk is approximately 3.6 km and takes around 2 hours, with a positive elevation gain of 158m. The trail is well-maintained and suitable for families. There are no costs associated with walking to the cascade.

During peak season, the Balad'Aulps Bus provides a free shuttle service (Line M) from Montriond village to the end of Lac de Montriond, the starting point for the walk to Cascade d'Ardent.
