Getting There

Car
From Avoriaz, head towards the main road leaving the resort. Follow the signs to 'Morzine' (D228). After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the roundabout in Morzine. Take the first exit onto D328 towards Montriond. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you see signs for 'Lac de Montriond'. Turn left onto the road leading towards the lake, and continue until you reach the parking area near the Cascade d’Ardent. Parking may incur a cost, so have some coins ready.

Public Transportation
From Avoriaz, walk to the nearest bus stop in the resort. Catch the bus to Morzine (check the schedule for bus times). Once you arrive in Morzine, transfer to the local bus service that operates to 'Montriond'. The bus will take you to the vicinity of Lac de Montriond. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to reach the Cascade d’Ardent. Ensure you have change for the bus fare as it may not accept cards.
