    From Morzine, take the free 'Line A' shuttle bus towards Prodains. Alight at the Prodains Express cable car station. Purchase a one-way ticket (€8.70 for adults) and ascend to Avoriaz. From Avoriaz, follow signs towards the Falaise district, then walk towards Proclou, passing the golf course. Continue uphill to the Col de la Joux Verte. At the pass, cross the road and follow the marked trail that ascends to the right, running along the ridges through the forest to the Zore chairlift. A pedestrian pass is required to take the Zore chairlift, which can be purchased in Avoriaz before setting off. Alternatively, from Avoriaz, you can walk to Les Crêtes de Zore, following signs for Col de la Joux Verte. This will add approximately 1-1.5 hours to your journey.

    From central Morzine, follow the Route d'Avoriaz uphill. This is a sustained climb. Continue past the various bends in the road. The Route d'Avoriaz eventually leads to the Col de la Joux Verte. This is a challenging hike, allow at least 3-4 hours from Morzine.
