Beautiful Day for Burgundy

We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Burgundy with Yann. This was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to France. Yann was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Burgundy and its wines. He explained the villages, vineyards, classifications, and terroirs in a way that was fascinating and approachable, and we came away from the day understanding and appreciating Burgundy wine so much more than we did when we started. The wineries Yann selected were wonderful. In fact, we enjoyed them so much that we bought six bottles at EACH winery—which probably says more about the quality of the day than anything else! We also loved having time in Beaune for lunch and getting to experience the region beyond just the tastings. The entire day felt relaxed and personal, and we never felt rushed. Our tour was scheduled for nine hours but ended up running longer, and Yann was incredibly generous with his time. It was obvious that his priority was giving us a memorable experience rather than simply watching the clock. By the end of the day, we had great wine, a much deeper appreciation for Burgundy, and some fantastic memories. Yann made the experience truly special, and we would recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone wanting to explore Burgundy. Thank you, Yann, for such an unforgettable day!
