If you are near Caen's city center, start at the Place Fontette. From there, head northwest on Rue de la Libération until you reach Rue du Vaugueux. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Université, where you will see signs for Château de Caen. Follow the signs and walk straight until you reach the entrance of Caen Castle.
