From the Cannes train station or the city center, the Musée des Explorations du Monde is located in the Le Suquet district, which is uphill. Follow the signs towards Le Suquet, making your way through the old town's narrow, winding streets. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes, gradually ascending towards the castle. Use the Église Notre-Dame d'Espérance as a landmark; the museum is located near the church at the top of the hill. Note that the final approach involves a moderately steep climb.

Several Palm Bus lines serve the area near Le Suquet. Check the Palm Bus website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. Alight at the 'Musée de la Castre' or 'Hôtel de Ville' stop. From either stop, follow the signs uphill towards Le Suquet and the museum. A single bus ticket costs €1.70 and can be purchased from the driver or at bus stations. Alternatively, the 'Suquet Shuttle,' an electric minibus, operates in and around Le Suquet. An all-day ticket costs €1.70.
