If you are at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, head southeast on Boulevard de la Croisette toward Rue des Serbes. Continue walking straight until you reach Rue d'Antibes, then turn left. Walk along Rue d'Antibes until you reach Rue de la Castre. Turn right onto Rue de la Castre. The Musée des explorations du monde will be on your left at 6 Rue de la Castre.

Find the closest bus stop, such as 'Gare Routière' or 'Palais des Festivals'. Take bus line 1 or 2, which stops nearby. Get off at the 'Castre' stop. From there, walk down Rue de la Castre for about 5 minutes, and you will find the museum on your left at 6 Rue de la Castre.

If you arrive at Cannes train station (Gare de Cannes), exit the station onto Avenue Jean Miró. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Rue d'Antibes. Continue walking straight until you reach Rue de la Castre. Turn right onto Rue de la Castre and the museum will be on your left at 6 Rue de la Castre.
