Walking
From the Cannes train station (Gare de Cannes), walk east along Rue Jean Jaurès towards the port. Turn left onto Quai Saint-Pierre, passing the old port on your right. Continue straight, and you'll see the base of Le Suquet hill ahead. Follow the signs towards Musée de la Castre, ascending the cobblestone streets. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Note that some sections have stairs. Alternatively, from the port area, follow signs for the 'vieux quartier' (old quarter).
Public Transport
From the Cannes train station (Gare de Cannes), take the Palm Bus line 1 towards 'Gare Maritime'. Get off at the 'Gare Maritime' stop, which is located near the port and the base of Le Suquet hill. From there, follow the walking directions above to ascend to Sunset Point. A single bus ticket costs €1.70. Alternatively, take the free Le Suquet shuttle bus from the Town Hall (Hotel de Ville) to the top of Le Suquet. The 'Suquet Forville Pass' costs €1.50 for all-day travel on the shuttle.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From anywhere in central Cannes, a taxi or ride-share to the base of Le Suquet hill (near the port) will cost approximately €7-€10, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near Quai Saint-Pierre or the Marché Forville. From there, follow the walking directions above to ascend to Sunset Point. Note that taxis cannot drive up the narrow streets of Le Suquet itself.
Driving
Driving directly to Le Suquet is not recommended due to extremely limited parking and narrow, pedestrian-only streets. The closest parking is at Parking Suquet Forville (entrances on Rue Pastour, Rue des Tambourinaires, and Rue Forville). Parking rates vary, but expect to pay around €2.50-€3.50 per hour, or €20-€30 for a full day. From the parking garage, follow the walking directions above to reach Sunset Point. Consider using the 'Evening package' for a maximum of €3 from Saturday 7 pm to Sunday 9 am.
