La Croix des Gardes: A Scenic Haven in Cannes

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Cannes, start by heading towards the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. From the Palais, walk along the Promenade de la Croisette until you reach the intersection with Rue des États-Unis. Turn left onto Rue des États-Unis and continue straight until you reach the train station, Gare de Cannes. Once at the train station, exit to the main street, Avenue de Grasse. Follow Avenue de Grasse uphill until you come to the intersection with Boulevard de la République. At this point, you can either continue straight on Avenue de Grasse or take a right onto Boulevard de la République. Look for the signs indicating La Croix des Gardes. Continue walking, and you will eventually reach the entrance to La Croix des Gardes, which is marked by a sign and is located at the top of the hill. The entire walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes from the Palais des Festivals.

  From Cannes city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 6 towards 'Les Termes'. The bus will take you along the coastal route and through the picturesque areas of Cannes. Get off at the stop 'La Croix des Gardes'. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to La Croix des Gardes, which is a short walk away. The ride usually takes around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
