Walking
From the Palais des Festivals, walk east along the Croisette, then turn right onto Quai Saint-Pierre. Continue along the harbor, passing the Musée de la Mer, until you reach Quai du Large. Estaquade and the Phare de Cannes will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and offers scenic views of the harbor and the sea.
Public Transport
Take the Palm Bus (local bus network) to the 'Place du Marché' stop, which is the closest to the old port. From there, walk along Quai Saint-Pierre towards Quai du Large. The lighthouse and Estaquade will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs €1.70. Alternatively, the City Palm Shuttle offers a free service in the city center, including the Croisette, with tickets costing €0.90 if purchased from the driver.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from the Cannes train station or the city center to Phare de Cannes (Quai du Large) will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is between €15-€20. Taxis Cannes (+33 (0)4 93 99 27 27) is the official taxi network in Cannes.
Ferry
For those visiting from Île Sainte-Marguerite, ferries regularly depart to Cannes, dropping passengers off at Quai Laubeuf, a short walk to Quai du Large. Adult tickets cost €18.50, children (5-12 years) €12.50. From Quai Laubeuf, walk along the harbor towards the lighthouse.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking near the old port can be limited, especially during peak season. Several parking lots are available, including Parking Pantiero and Parking Suquet Forville. Expect to pay around €3 for 2 hours of parking. Cannes Town Hall provides drivers with 2166 parking spaces split into 2 zones on the highway, all with the first half hour free and just 3 € for 2 hours.
