Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Chamonix. Head east on Rue du Docteur Paccard toward Rue de la Poste. Continue straight onto Route du Bouchet and follow the signs for 'Les Praz'. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach a fork; keep left onto Route de la Flégère. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the Flégère cable car station. Parking is available here, but might incur a cost (around €5 for half a day). From the cable car station, take the Flégère lift which will take you up to the hiking trails. Once at the top, follow the marked trail toward Tour des Crochues. The hike takes approximately 1-1.5 hours.
