If driving from Zonza, follow the D268 towards the Col de Bavella. After a few kilometers, look for a small, unsigned parking area on the right side of the road. From the parking area, it's a short, easy walk of about 5-10 minutes to the Gros Caillou viewpoint. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially during peak season. There are no parking fees.

While public transport directly to Gros Caillou is limited, you can take a bus from Porto-Vecchio or Ajaccio to Zonza. From Zonza, the viewpoint is approximately a 30-minute uphill hike. Alternatively, local taxis might be available in Zonza to take you closer to the viewpoint, but confirm availability and price in advance. Bus fares from Porto-Vecchio or Ajaccio to Zonza range from €19-€28. Taxi fares from Zonza to Gros Caillou would need to be negotiated.

If you are already in Zonza and enjoy hiking, you can walk to Gros Caillou. Follow the D268 towards Col de Bavella. The walk is moderately uphill and takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your fitness level. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and carry water.
