Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
From the Vieux Port (Old Port), a central point in Saint-Tropez, walk inland, away from the harbor. Locate the Café de Paris on the harbor front. With the cafe on your left, take the small street that veers slightly to the left, which is Rue Georges Clemenceau. The street is relatively short and easily walkable in a few minutes. Look for number 6 on the street.
Taxi/Ride-Share
If arriving by taxi or ride-share from outside the immediate center of Saint-Tropez, simply provide the address '6 Rue Georges Clemenceau, 83990 Saint-Tropez' as your destination. Be aware that traffic can be heavy during peak season, potentially increasing fares. A short ride from the outskirts of Saint-Tropez to Rue Georges Clemenceau will likely cost between €15-€30, depending on traffic and time of day.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus at the main bus station (Gare Routière de Saint-Tropez), walk towards the Vieux Port. From there, follow the 'Walking' directions above. A single bus ticket within Saint-Tropez costs around €3. Alternatively, the Saint-Tropez Bus, a local electric shuttle, has a stop at Place des Lices, a short walk from Rue Georges Clemenceau. A single ride on the shuttle costs €0.50.
Ferry
If arriving by ferry from Sainte-Maxime or other nearby ports, you'll arrive at the main harbor of Saint-Tropez. As you exit the ferry terminal, turn right and follow the harbor front. Pass the Café de Paris, and then take the first small street on your left, Rue Georges Clemenceau. Walk down this street for about 40 meters, and you will find the destination on your right. Ferry tickets from Sainte-Maxime to Saint-Tropez typically cost around €8 per person, each way.
Driving
If driving, parking in Saint-Tropez can be challenging, especially during peak season. The closest large parking lot is located at the Port de Saint-Tropez. From the parking lot, walk towards the harbor and continue along the path until you reach the heart of the main harbor. Take Rue Georges Clemenceau to the right. Parking fees at the Port de Saint-Tropez can range from €3 to €5 per hour, with daily rates reaching up to €30 or more during the summer. Alternatively, free parking is available at Quartier de la Bouillabaisse, a 15-20 minute walk from Rue Georges Clemenceau.
