Founded in 1963 by Michel and Maryse Rochedy, what began as a traditional Savoyard chalet with nine bedrooms has evolved into a luxurious five-star hotel and two Michelin-starred restaurant. Le Chabichou quickly gained a reputation for its comfortable accommodations and excellent cuisine. In 1979, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star, a first for Courchevel, solidifying Michel Rochedy's reputation as a culinary innovator. Five years later, a second Michelin star followed. In 2018, Jean-Claude Lavorel and his family-owned group took over, committed to preserving the original values. A renovation in 2020 blended the hotel's history with a modern touch.The hotel boasts a remarkable spa covering 1,100 square meters, featuring a heated indoor pool, sauna, and hammam.
