Car
If you're driving, head towards the town of Villars. From the center of Périgueux, take the D710 road heading west. Continue on D710 for about 18 km. As you approach Villars, turn left onto the D46 road. After about 2 km, you will see signs for Villars Cave. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Villars Cave via public transport, take a train from Périgueux to the nearest train station, which is in Brantôme. From Brantôme, you can catch a local bus towards Villars. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once in Villars, follow the signs to the cave, which is located about 2 km from the bus stop.

If you are already in the village of Villars, you can easily walk to Villars Cave. The cave is approximately a 25-minute walk from the village center. Head southwest on the D46 road, following the signs to the cave. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
