Car
If you are traveling by car, first set your GPS to '99 Rue des Fusillés de la Résistance, 25000 Besançon'. From major cities in Franche-Comté, such as Dijon or Belfort, take the A36 motorway which connects to the N57. Once you reach Besançon, follow signs for 'Citadelle de Besançon'. There is parking available near the citadel, but be aware that there might be a parking fee of around €2 per hour.
