Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, take the D955 road towards Rougon. The Pont de Soleils is located along this route. From Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, head southeast on the D952, then turn onto the D955. Continue on D955 for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the parking area near Pont de Soleils. Look for the signs directing you to the viewpoint. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pont de Soleils using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest major town, which is Castellane. Look for bus services that head towards Rougon. You may need to check the schedule in advance, as services can be limited. Once you arrive at Rougon, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Pont de Soleils. Follow the D955 road, which will lead you directly to the viewpoint. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes, as the path may be uneven.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie or Castellane. Follow the D955 road towards Rougon; it’s a scenic route but be prepared for some uphill sections. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Again, be cautious of traffic and ensure that you have a helmet and safety gear. There may be spots along the way to stop and enjoy the stunning views of the Gorges du Verdon.

• Hiking

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike to Pont de Soleils from nearby trails. One popular route starts in the village of Rougon. Hike along the marked trails that lead you through the beautiful landscape. The hike is approximately 1.5 hours one way and offers breathtaking views of the gorge along the way. Bring plenty of water and snacks, and be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
