Getting There

• Car

  To reach Point Sublime by car, start from the village of Rougon. If you're coming from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, take the D952 road towards La Palud-sur-Verdon. Continue on D952 until you reach the junction with D23. Turn onto D23, following the signs toward Rougon. After about 7 km, you'll arrive in Rougon. From Rougon, follow the signs to Point Sublime, which is located approximately 3 km away. The road is narrow and winding, so drive carefully. There's a parking area available near the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, the best option is to take a bus from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie to La Palud-sur-Verdon. The bus service is operated by the regional transport authority, and you can check the schedule online. Once you arrive in La Palud-sur-Verdon, you will need to take a taxi or arrange a shuttle to Rougon, as public transport to Rougon is limited. Taxis can be booked in advance, and the approximate fare to Rougon is around 30-40 euros. From Rougon, follow the signs for Point Sublime, about 3 km away, as detailed above.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to hike, you can walk from Rougon to Point Sublime. The distance is about 3 km, and the trail is well-marked. The hike offers stunning views of the Gorges du Verdon but be prepared for a steep ascent in some parts. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring enough water, especially during warmer months.
