Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the A6 motorway from your current location in Île-de-France. Follow signs for Lyon and merge onto the A6. Continue on the A6 for about 25 km, then take exit 10 toward D60 in the direction of Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois. After exiting, continue on D60 for approximately 5 km. You will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto Rue de la République. After about 1 km, turn right onto Rue Léo Lagrange. The cemetery will be on your left. There is usually free parking available on the street near the cemetery.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach Tarkovsky's Grave using public transportation, make your way to a train station that services the RER B line. Board a train heading toward Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse. Alight at the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois station (approximately 30 minutes from central Paris). From the station, exit and head northwest on Avenue de la République. After about 1 km, turn left onto Rue Léo Lagrange. Continue straight, and you will arrive at the cemetery where Tarkovsky's Grave is located. The total travel time will be approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your waiting times.

Get off at the stop named 'Rue Léo Lagrange'. From there, walk a short distance to the cemetery entrance, where Tarkovsky's Grave is located.
