For public transport, take a train from Carcassonne to the nearest station, which is in Quillan. From Quillan, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse. Buses may run infrequently, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. The taxi ride from Quillan to the castle will cost approximately €30-€40. Once you arrive in the village, follow the signs to the castle, which is a short walk uphill.
