Getting There

Public Transport - Bus
From Nîmes, head to the Nîmes bus station (Gare Routière). Take the bus line 54 towards Avignon. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Avignon bus station, which is near the city center. From the bus station, head towards Rue de la République and continue until you reach the Palais des Papes. From there, continue walking straight to Place de l'Horloge. Turn left onto Rue de la République and then right onto Rue de la Campane. Follow the road until you see Chem. de Fontanille. The destination will be on your right at number 60.

Walking
If you find yourself in the center of Nîmes, you can also walk to Avignon, although it is a longer journey. Start at the Nîmes Arena (Les Arènes de Nîmes) and head northwest on Rue d'Angleterre. Continue onto Avenue Jean Jaurès until you reach the D907. Follow the D907 towards Avignon, which will take you about 1.5 hours walking time. Once you reach Avignon, follow the signs to the city center, and then head to Chem. de Fontanille, which is a short walk from the Palais des Papes.

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or a rideshare service from Nîmes to Avignon. You can get a taxi from any central location in Nîmes, such as the train station or the city center.
