From the Place de l'Horloge, walk south along the Cours Jean Jaurès. The Visite Avignon shop will be on your right. This is a pedestrian-friendly area. Expect to pay around €0.80 to €4.00 per hour for street parking, with a 4-hour limit. Underground car parks are around €1.40-€1.70/hour. Free, supervised car parks are located at Ile Piot and Parking des Italiens, with free shuttle buses to the city center.

Public Transport

The Orizo public transport network serves Avignon and the surrounding area. Several bus lines stop near Cours Jean Jaurès. From Avignon Centre train station, take a Cityzen mini-bus or a regular bus to the 'République' stop on Rue de la République, then walk a short distance to Cours Jean Jaurès. A single bus ticket costs around €1.40. A 24-hour public transport pass is also available.
